Our Twenty-Eighth Week: In Pictures

This week the only pictures I took were in the post previous to this. What a lonely post this is.

Deutschesfest 2011

As mentioned in my previous post, I recently went to Odessa, Washington to visit family and for the annual Odessa Deutschesfest. We try and go every year, not so much for the festival itself, but for the good company. We always stay with my aunt and uncle that live there. Usually my cousins, mom, brother and sister try to make it also. Something amazing happens when we all get together. It can be a long time between visits, but we always pick up right where we left off. We are a crazy family, but I wouldn't have them any other way!

The food is amazing and there are a plethora of yard sales to choose from. I found quite a few treasures this year, which I'll be sharing in a future post if I get some free time (what's that?!).

We always have so much fun, I'm already counting down the months for the next Deutschesfest!

The weekend of September 16-18th we went to Odessa Washington for the Deutschesfest. It's a great time to get together with my mom's sister Cathy and all of her family. One of the crazy cast of characters, Jessie, was nice enough to be my model. We went all over Odessa messing around getting pictures. What a blast.



She's such a beautiful young woman and funny as all get out! I'm so proud to call her my cousin! Here are a few of my favorites from our adventures. As always, more can be found on Flickr
