As mentioned in my previous post, I recently went to Odessa, Washington to visit family and for the annual Odessa Deutschesfest. We try and go every year, not so much for the festival itself, but for the good company. We always stay with my aunt and uncle that live there. Usually my cousins, mom, brother and sister try to make it also. Something amazing happens when we all get together. It can be a long time between visits, but we always pick up right where we left off. We are a crazy family, but I wouldn't have them any other way!
The food is amazing and there are a plethora of yard sales to choose from. I found quite a few treasures this year, which I'll be sharing in a future post if I get some free time (what's that?!).
