Zane and Becky's Wedding : July 16, 2011

This being my very first wedding I was so nervous! I really pushed myself to do the best job I possibly could and I think I did alright for my first time. They are still on their honeymoon so I don't think they've seen them yet. I sure hope they like them. I ended up with 826 pictures to give them! Our Ninteenth Week: In Pictures

This week Ryan went to Las Vegas from Sunday-Thursday for a conference for work. It was his first time away from Boston for so long and he really missed his daddy all week! We spent most of the week watching movies and preparing for the wedding I was going to photograph in Libby.














He got his mouth on Walter and ended up all hairy LOL. Walter likes to do drive by lickings!

Our Eighteenth Week: In Pictures

Yes, this is very late. This was 4th of July holiday. We had a fun and laid back 4th with my in-laws here at our house. Boston LOVED the fireworks. We didn't think he'd really notice or see them, but he was entranced! I didn't get any pictures of him watching them, as I didn't want to use flash and bother his experience. I did get a short video of him watching him though, with the help of the "flashlight" app on Ryan's iphone.

I Know I Sounds Like A...

. So guess what, I've been slacking in the blogging department. I've been so busy it's ridiculous. Good ridiculous.

I shot my first wedding last weekend! I've put in a lot of late nights this past week, but I think it's paid off a bit. I've been thinking more and more about it lately and have decided I need to do something to get my "business" straightened out. More and more people are asking me to take photos for them. I never in one million years dreamed of myself as a photographer. It is a hobby that I love, but never thought I was any better than a hobbiest (is that even a word?). Other people seem to think otherwise. Thanks for the flattery and compliments everyone!

I fancy myself a designer, not really a photographer. Just reading about setting up a small business is making my head spin and I have a business degree! I'm not setting out in this endeavor to make a ton of money. I'm not even really looking to make much of a profit at all, but I know Uncle Sam will want to get his slice of whatever meager pie I get. All I want to do is be legitimate. If anyone reading has any expertise in this area, feel free to sound off!

Clingy McClingerson

I've been pretty MIA online and with pretty much everything in life for the past month. Boston loves his sleep, but these days he's only happy if he naps on me. He's fine during bedtime, but during the day he fights sleep so hard. When he finally does go to sleep (on me) he's only happy if he stays there. He can be in a deep sleep and the second a thought even pops into my head to get something done, he's onto me. If I move to lay him elsewhere his eyes snap open and we're back to square one. Don't get me wrong, I love cuddling with him, but I do have things I need to do on occasion.

On another note, I think I'm pretty close to getting his room finished! Ryan cut the board for the shelves, now I just have to figure what size I want the shelves, paint them and install! After the shelves and his Boston picture are hung, I'll get the "done" or "after" pictures up!
